  19.                              DETAILED DESCRIPTION 
  20.  
  21.        PC-LEARN is a training system which includes chapters on buying 
  22.        and using a computer, an entertaining history of computers, DOS 
  23.        lessons, hard disk drives and tech tips, and even telephone 
  24.        support numbers where you can call with your questions! It also 
  25.        includes information on word processing, a suggested reading 
  26.        list, software selection, computer clubs, batch files, 
  27.        spreadsheets, databases, and even a glossary! Other tutorials 
  28.        include using shareware for beginners and environmentally 
  29.        sensitive computing. A perfect package for the first time
  30.        computer user!

  32.        PC-LEARN runs on all IBM compatible PC's. PC-LEARN has been 
  33.        selected a recommended beginner's choice by 21 computer clubs 
  34.        and has been featured in two national computer magazines. PC-
  35.        LEARN is shareware. Program runs on ALL systems and does NOT 
  36.        require color or special graphics. A hard drive or high density 
  37.        floppy drive is recommended for this version, but program can 
  38.        also run from standard 360K drives. Registration information is 
  39.        contained in the file BONUS.TUT within the main unpacked 
  40.        program. New features include updated high speed color or 
  41.        monochrome menus, tutorial printing on your printer, information 
  42.        searching capabilities, revised tutorials and much more!

  83.        distribution/handling fee for an evaluation disk of which NO 
  84.        PORTION goes to the author of the software. You are expected to

  114.                   INSTALLATION AND UNPACKING OF THIS PROGRAM

  118.        The main PC-LEARN package is stored in compressed files produced 
  119.        by the software program LHARC written by Haruyasu Yoshizaki. 
  120.        Unpacking to a hard drive or high density floppy is recommended. 
  121.        You can install to floppy drives of the following sizes: 360K, 
  122.        720K, 1.2M, 1.44M.

  124.        For most users having a C: hard drive and an A: and B: floppy 
  125.        drives, use the normal installation procedure which assumes this 
  126.        installation disk of PC-LEARN is located on a floppy in your A: 
  127.        drive. Use the following command:

  129.        A>INSTALL       <then press enter/return key> 
  130.        
  131.        A useful help screen with commands for using LHARC is available 
  132.        by typing the command   LHARC    at the DOS prompt. Example:    
  133.        A>LHARC    produces detailed help screen. This will provide the 
  134.        LHARC command syntax for use with other drive systems.

  136.        Once unpacked, start the main program using the command:

  144.        You must, of course, switch or change into the hard drive 
  145.        subdirectory which now contains the unpacked PC-LEARN files if 
  146.        you unpacked to a hard drive. Usually this subdirectory is named 
  147.        \PCL.
