  1. Explanation of the R command in EDLIN.

  3. This command will let you look for a 
  4. certain string and replace it with 
  5. something else. First you enter starting 
  6. line for replacing, then the last line 
  7. for replacing, then the string that you 
  8. want EDLIN to replace, after that you have
  9. to enter a CTRL-Z (^Z) character, then 
  10. the string to replace it with.
  11.
