  1. Explanation of the BUFFERS command. It 
  2. is used in the CONFIG.SYS.
  3.  
  4. Allocates memory for specified numbers of 
  5. disk buffers as soon as your system starts. 
  6. It can only be used in the config.sys file 
  7. of your computer.

  9. Example:
  10.        buffers=20
  11.        This will create 20 disk buffers, if 
  12.        you include this line in the 
  13.        config.sys file.
