  3. This sparkive contains two programs, which are part of the MPEG tools. The
  4. MPEG tools is a collection programs for handling MPEG streams, written
  5. by the University of Californa, Berkeley. I have only included the player
  6. 'mpegplay' and the statistics program 'mpegstat'. I have a working version
  7. of the encoder, but I want to include some desktop interface, before
  8. releasing it. The other tools are editing programs and need much more work.

  10. This software is FREEWARE. Permission for non-profit distribution of this
  11. software is granted, provided it is distributed "as is", without change.
