- Image of Jupiter with the Hubble Space Telescope Planetary Camera.
- Eight impact sites are visible. From left to right are the E/F complex
- (barely visible on the edge of the planet), the star-shaped H site, the
- impact sites for tiny N, Q1, small Q2, and R, and on the far right limb
- the D/G complex. The D/G complex also shows extended haze at the edge
- of the planet. The features are rapidly evolving on timescales of
- days. The smallest features in this image are less than 200 kilometers
- across. This image is a color composite from three filters at 9530,
- 5550, and 4100 Angstroms.

- NASA SPACELINK BACKGROUND
-
- NASA Spacelink runs on a Data General ECLIPSE MV-7800 minicomputer at the NASA
- George C. Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. NASA Spacelink
- software was developed and donated to NASA by the Data General Corporation.
- The system has a main memory of 14 megabytes (14 million characters), and disk
- storage space for 2 gigabytes. It runs at 300, 1200, 2400 or 9600 baud. Data
- word format is 8 data bits, no parity, and 1 stop bit. The system was made
- public in February, 1988.
-
- Initial support for NASA Spacelink was provided by the Educational Affairs
- Division at NASA Headquarters. The NASA Spacelink data base is maintained by
- the Public Services and Education Branch of the Marshall Space Flight Center
- Public Affairs Office. Operational support is provided by the Information
- Systems Office at the Marshall Center. Information on NASA scientific projects
- and educational programs is provided to NASA Spacelink by education specialists
- at NASA Headquarters and the NASA field centers.
-
- While NASA understands that people from a wide variety of backgrounds will use
- NASA Spacelink, the system is specifically designed for teachers. Unlike
- bulletin board systems, NASA Spacelink does not provide for interaction between
- callers. However, it allows teachers and other callers to leave questions and
- comments for NASA.

- LeapOfFaith.24
-
- This image was rendered in Imagine2.0, with composition and touch-up
- by OpalPaint. The scene took ~1.5 hours to render for the initial frame
- in 24-bit @640x512 (Full Trace). The whole project took about 3-4days to
- compose.
- If for some un-explainable reason (eg. you like it :)), you

-
- Just a nice little Ray Trace of some Futuristic Objects I've made
- in Imagine. There really isn't anything special about this picture.
- except for the fact that I like the objects in it.
-
- I did use OpalPaint to touch up some of the anti-aliasing,
- and to make the foot prints and tire tracks, as well as some wrinkles
- in the astronauts suit. Heck I even added a shadows or two.
-
- If you have some neat IDEAS or would like me to produce graphics for
- your software developement, multi-media projects or presentations
- contact me and maybe we can make some arangements that can make us
- both happy.
