- WebGopher 0.33 setting up.
- --------------------------

- Using with ArcWeb
- -----------------

- To use this application with ArcWeb, you simply load it.
- If you want to use WebGopher transparently with ArcWeb then do the
- following :-
-
- a) Setup WebGopher to suit your requirments.
- b) Ensure the WebGopher iconbar icon is disabled.
- c) Save the options and quit WebGopher.
- d) Move the main WebGopher application into the !WebHelper application,
- as supplied with !ArcWeb. To do this, double click !WebHelper. This
- will open a new directory, containing other applications. Shift-Drag
- WebGopher into this directory to move it. WebGopher is then setup to
- load automatically.
- e) Move the !GopherRes storage application to a directory where it will
- be 'seen' by the filer BEFORE ArcWeb is loaded.

- This procedure will ensure that WebGopher does not use up iconbar space
- and will quit automatically when ArcWeb exits.

- Using with Webster
- ------------------

- To use this application with Webster you should simply load it.

- To configure Webster 0.08 to using WebGopher fetchers you should do the
- following :-

- a) Load Webster.
- b) Select 'Choices...' from Websters main iconbar menu.
- c) Select the 'Fetchers' option.
- d) Select 'GOPHER' from the 'Method' pop-up menu.
- e) Ensure that the writable field below 'Call Command Below' is clear.
- f) Select the 'Call Standard Fetcher' option.
- g) Save the configuration.

- If you wish to use the ftp: and telnet: protocols of WebGopher instead
- of the versions supplied with Webster then repeat the above procedure
- for each of them.
