  10. This is a port of Bison 1.24 for the Acorn Archimedes and Risc PC systems.
  11.  
  12. This version was ported and tested on an A5000 running RISC OS 3.10 so I
  13. can't guarantee that it will run on anything else, but there's no reason
  14. why it shouldn't.

  16. For information on bison and what it does, see the information in the docs
  17. directory. This contains the Un*x manual page in [nt]roff format and the
  18. bison manual in texinfo format.
  19.  
  20. The skeletons supplied, bsn/simple and bsn/hairy need to be placed somewhere
  21. on File$Path for bison to be able to find them. Also, very little testing has
  22. been done on the semantic parsers which use the bsn/hairy skeleton, so I
  23. have no idea how well this will work. The skeleton for the simple parser
  24. has been modifed to compile cleanly on RISC OS though.

  26. Finally, please note that you will need to link the AOF object file alloca
  27. with any program that uses a bison parser.
