  2. This is release 5b of the Independent JPEG Group's code.

  4. The ArcFS archive 'jpeg' contains the source code and makefile ready
  5. for compiling under RISCOS and the 4 executables ready compiled (using
  6. C version 5). The jmemansi.c memory allocator was used.
  7.  
  8. The Zip file 'jpeg/zip' contains the original distribution files in case 
  9. you need to recompile on a different system.
