  1. Format of NetReader Signature files

  4. All signature files are stored within !NetReader.Sigs
  5. Currently there are three signature files. These are:-
  6.  
  7. Longsig - This is a long signature with which to sign the bottom of your messages.
  8.           The format should be textual characters between two ASCII zero codes.
  9.           NetReader will quote each line between these codes.
  10.           
  11. priv_sig - These are the lines quoted to terminate private message replies.
  12.            The default file is for cix style
  13.

  18.            format termination. This file should NOT be changed by the user unless
  19.            a different Internet provider requires a different message terminator.
  20.            
  21. quotes - This is the file containing random quotes, which may additionally be
  22.          quoted at the bottom of your messages. Each quote should be inserted
  23.          between two ASCII zero characters. NetReader will then jump to a random
  24.          position within this file and search back until it finds a zero code.
  25.          NetReader will then quote subsequent lines, again until it finds a zero
  26.          code.
