- Last night about 11pm I started the VMS 5.5-2 upgrade on a VAX 6310 running VMS
- 5.5. The upgrade finished about 1am this morning by the required "rebooting".
- When the system came back up, the date/time was off by a year!
-
- The very last entry in OPERATOR.LOG;-1 had the right date, and the very first
- entry in OPERATOR.LOG;0 was off by a year (1992), so nobody mis-set the date in
- the meantime!
-
- I've read somewhere that something similar to this would happen at the turn fo
- the year, but this was NOT a "New Year's Eve" problem!
