  14. I know a little bit about DCL commands, but not a whole lot...

  16. I am a person who suffers from staying on the Vax way too late at
  17. night...  I'd like to be able to set an "alarm clock" of sorts,
  18. to log me out automatically at a certain time.

  20. I don't think there is any command I can use to do this, but I
  21. think I should be able to create a .com file to do it.  I envision
  22. something like this:

  24.     - Input time to log out
  25.     - submit a batch program to kill the process at the defined
  26.       time, and send a "five minute warning" prior...

  28. Is there a way to pull in the PID short of entering it by hand??
  29. I assume I could use  stop /ident=PID    to kill the process...

  31. Is there a better way??  Am I crazy?  Do I not know what I'm 
  32. talking about???
