  29. The campbell still does do good cheap food, sufficient for it to be filled
  30. with students at least most lunch times between around 12 and 2... There are
  31. still other decent-ish pubs in Coventry town centre, it all depends upon
  32. your point of view. If you're a dancing kind of a person then the D&T is 
  33. usually a good bet. Although it does mean stretching to around about 1.60
  34. a pint. There's also The Golden Cross another student pub for those who 
  35. prefer a quieter night out although it seems to have become somewhat more 
  36. popular this year..The first years seem to like the olde worlde look.. It's
  37. another one that sells quite expensive beer though... Personally if I'm 
  38. going for a _quiet_ night out then The Hand and Heart in far Gosford Street
  39. (I know it's not quite the town centre but it's not far out), is quite a
  40. nice little pub.. It also sells pretty cheap beer which is even close to the
  41. prices in the student union.. A place not to be inhabited of an evening by
  42. students unless you're a first year still calling the place "Bully's" and 
  43. thinking it's hip... The biko bar aint bad though and there are occasionally
  44. some good bands play on a Saturday night... Anyway there ya go just my humble
  45. opinion of the pubs in Cov centre....
