- The effect of overhead power cables has been explained by the fact that
- power cables' magnetic fields concentrate (or focus) cosmic radiation,
- thus causing "hot spots" near power cables.

- TV and monitor systems work at similar 50Hz frequencies or at most double
- this, leading me to suspect that monitors are capable of producing the
- same effects as overhead power lines. Pure conjecture of course, but it
- is plausible.
