- Recently I've searched for Metro parts around many breakers yards in the
- London area and I think you'd be very lucky to find headlamps for prices
- as low as this. If they retail for 70 quid or more, the breaker can easily
- get 30 quid per headlamp. The buyer will still have a bargain and the breaker
- has a living to make.
- I also tend to find the 'saleable' items such as headlamps, bumpers, rust-prone
- body parts etc. disappear very fast. I wouldn't be surprised if they go straight
- to spares dealers elsewhere before we bargain-hunters get a look in.
- Anyhow as soon as my Metro dies I'm getting a French car - parts are cheaper!
