  15. The one and only situation where I have needed Mastercard instead of Visa
  16. is when I needed cash in continental Europe outside of banking hours.  Decide
  17. for yourself whether you will be in that situation;  in some european countries
  18. the cash machines in the walls take Mastercard but not Visa.
