  31. Well, guru should check his facts next time he sez anything:

  33. Advertising on C4 was by region until the end of last year (each ITV
  34. company sold airtime in its own region).  The fact that there are no
  35. regional *programmes* on C4 is irrelevant.  However, C4 now sells its
  36. own airtime, and the current argument is about whether it does so
  37. nationally or regionally.  (By the way, what about Classic FM?)

  39. The primary purpose of S4C (which isn't part of C4) is to broadcast
  40. programmes in the Welsh language, which take up most of peak viewing
  41. time.  A selection of C4 programmes are shown in the off-peak slots;
  42. their scheduling is often different to C4 scheduling, but they're (a
  43. subset of) the same programmes.

  45. Oh, and the regional slot on BBC2 is 7.30 on Thursdays, not Tuesdays.
