  22.      I concede that I am not qualified to effectively counter "expert"
  23. testimony on the effects of word choice on rape victims. On the other
  24. hand, you can hardly expect me to take the word of hardly
  25. disinterested gay-rights activists on the grammatical (as opposed to
  26. political) correctness of the word "homosexual".

  28.      More to the point, continually tying you in virtually identical
  29. rhetorical knots has started to become more an exercise for my fingers
  30. than my brain. I would probably be further entertained by a discussion
  31. of the differences in worldview between philosophers and engineers,
  32. but it seems to me that I've put you into such a contrary mode that
  33. you automatically disagree with any statement I make, and thus the
  34. chances for rational discussion are essentially nil.
