- My guess is that Ted has seen one of those "Newton's Folly" magnetic toys and
- thought that it really worked the way it gives the impression it works. (you
- know, the ones where the globe hovers between two electomagnets).

- For the record, Ted, the "Newton's Folly" toys only work because of a high
- speed switching mechanism alternating the direction of the magnetic pull. For
- it to work with planets, Jupiter and Saturn would have to be switching their
- polarity every few seconds (at least).
