- On the radio I heard some woman complaining about the pointlessness
- of wearing a fur coat: "wearing the skins of dead animals."
- Why not wear the skins of live animals? Several methods come to
- mind:

- 1. Breed animals to be thin and flat, so that they can be gently attached
- together and worn as capes or stoles.
- 2. Put animals under general anaesthesia and remove their skins, replacing
- them with artificial skins. True, the technology for this doesn't yet exist,
- but certainly it's worth investigating the possibility.
- 3. Remove animals' skins, remove the skin of an alt.fan.furry type, and
- sew the human skin onto the animals and the animal skins onto the furry.
- True, there will be some problems with rejection, but again that's a matter
- for scientific investigation.
