  15. I'm not sure what's going on, but those of you who wish to meet
  16. young, attractive, available women should start following me 
  17. around, because apparently I'm giving off some sort of gamma
  18. radiation or pheromones or something that's magnetic to 'em.

  20. After spending about a year or so when the ONLY person even VAGUELY
  21. interested in me was a close friend who's dated everyone BUT me
  22. (by mutual choice), within the past month I've:
  23.  
  24. (a) begun a new relationship (sadly, she's living in another state right now), 
  25. (b) noticed a slightly-underage friend of a friend flirting shyly with me, and
  26. (c) collected two more phone numbers in my coat pocket, belonging
  27.       to a pair of sweet, preppy girls in one of my classes.
  28. ..as WELL as the aforementioned friend taking on a newly intense interest,
  29. and a friend of HERS offering to spend her Spring Break week down here in
  30. North Carolina visiting li'l old me.

  32. All of the above WITHOUT my doing a damned thing to initiate any of 'em,
  33. or visibly changing my habits, moods or appearance significantly.

  35. Of course, everything above after (a) took place AFTER said relationship
  36. began, and I hence went Off The Market, though I'm still at a loss to explain
  37. the week and a half where THAT occured.
  38.  
  39. One month, total, beginning with one kamikaze at J.C. Dobbs and a game of
  40. Scruples, and my love life has become utterly, unexplainably chaotic.

  42. I don't know what's being pumped into the water supply around here, but 
  43. I do want the Spring Catalog put out by whoever's doing it.  There may be some
  44. related products I'd be interested in.
