  81. It was exactly, Douglas.  The RCC is not paying taxes that it should because
  82. of its poltical activity, which activity is specifically forbidden in
  83. order for the Church to *get* that tax exemption.

  89. You're still confusing me.  And probably missing my point: the Church
  90. doesn't deserve its tax-exempt status which allows it to BUILD those
  91. cathedrals.

  93. The fact that "all Catholics", I guess you mean the members of the
  94. Church collectively, cannot afford cathedrals on their own is irrelevant
  95. and doesn't get much sympathy from me anyway.  In fact, none.
