  23. Whenever you decide between two options, you gain something and you loose
  24. something.  Therefore you have to figure out which you want more, or which
  25. you want now, etc.

  27. Its all very personal.  Just because Gordon aborted a potential child now
  28. doesn't mean he can't have one later, when he is ready.  He hasn't 
  29. necessarily missed a thing.

  31. It is awfully presumptuous of you to assume that you know the best way
  32. for everyone to conduct their lives and affairs.

  34. I am at the age where I am nearly ready to begin having children.  However,
  35. had I found myself pregnant 10 years ago, I most certainly would have
  36. aborted.  I wouldn't have missed the last 10 years of my childless life
  37. for anything.  The life I've lived and the experiences I've had have made
  38. me a better and more intelligent person, and that translates into a better
  39. parent.

  41. But I'm not going to tell you about all the things you've missed by having
  42. children, because only you can decide what is best for you, and you may
  43. not have missed a thing.
