  20. Less common than they are now.  I can think of a few great
  21. ways to make abortion rare, without persecuting women by 
  22. making it illegal:

  24. 1.  Better access to better birth control. 
  25. 2.  Better sex education.
  26. 3.  Improved pre-natal care for poor women.
  27. 4.  Improved access to day care for women with children.
  28. 5.  Job training for women with small children.
  29.  
  30. The approach is simple:  prevent unwanted pregnancies, and
  31. remove the circumstances that make women decide to choose
  32. abortion.  Prevention is by far the most cost-effective method.
  33. The others are more expensive, but I'm sure you won't mind
  34. paying for them.
