- In my negotiation class 6 months ago the instructor mentioned a show called
- "Common Ground" where people with WILDLY different viewpoints were brought
- together and were required to find something in common (with an extremely
- patient moderator). Apparently on one show Molly Yard and Jerry Falwell
- were brought together to talk about the abortion issue. The upshot was
- that the two ended up working together to abolish a law in some southern
- state (don't recall which) that required a pregnant girl to drop out of
- school.
-
- I have heard mumblings and rumblings of a *group* since then called "Common
- Ground" that does a number of things including joint projects to help
- orphanages and sensitivity retreats that bring pro-lifers and pro-choicers
- together.
-
- Someone would do me a large favor if they found them and posted info.
