  26.    Mr. Meier may very well be a moron (although I doubt it), but his
  27. status as a moron or a non-moron doesn't have anything to do with the
  28. discussion at hand.  Nor does even yours.

  30.    As for the Catholic Church's teaching on birth control, you have
  31. fallen into the same fundamental error that many do, especially in
  32. this group.  That is, you assume that the Church arbitrarily makes up
  33. laws, rather than saying what she believes to be God's laws.  You
  34. might sound more credible to base your arguments on the assumption
  35. that the Church is simply wrong, rather than having some sinister
  36. motive behind everything.

  38.    As for all this talk about "the Church is oppressing" everybody,
  39. please don't insult everyone's intelligence.  All anyone has to do to
  40. put an end to the Church "oppressing" them is 1) leave the Church (if
  41. you are sure it is not God's Church), or 2) ignore the "oppressive"
  42. law in question (if you are sure it is not God's law).  As you appear
  43. to have done both already, one cannot help but think you have an axe
  44. to grind.
