  22.     Well....there's a group called Common Ground that started here in
  23. St. Louis as a cooperative effort between Reproductive Health Services and
  24. (I believe) Missouri Citizens for Life.  While agreeing to disagree on the
  25. whether or not abortion should be legal, the heads of the two groups decided
  26. to get together and see what problems they could argee to work on in tandem.
  27. Interestingly enough, they found several: pre-natal care for poor women,
  28. education about birth control and STD prevention, economic and job assistance,
  29. etc.
  30.     True Believers on both sides didn't like it, but I understand the
  31. initiative has caught on elsewhere as well.  I'll see if I can find more
  32. information on it.
