  19. Two things here ... first off, I imagine that excessive doses of L-DOPA
  20. would have rather, um, interesting effects; I'm not sure that cognitive
  21. enhancement would be a part of them, but temporary insanity might. :-)
  22. Remember, in general, if you dork with noradrenaline you'll also dork
  23. with dopamine.

  25. Second, many cholinergics (especially choline and other ACh precursors)
  26. can aggravate cases of endogenous depression.  Since l-tryptophan is
  27. *still* not legal, you're SOL on this one if you've got problems.  Or
  28. you could just eat turkey all day ...
