  37. Abortion is a surgical procedure performed only by licensed phsycians
  38. (legally). It is certainly beyond the scope of practice for nurses,
  39. and is beyond the scope of practice for Physicians Assistants and
  40. Nurse Pracitioners in every state for which I have seen the practice
  41. acts.

  71. these numbers reflect higher numbers of complkications then newer
  72. figures would show.
