  26. I'm sure the math grad student killed at U of Wisconsin, Madison,
  27. in 1970, will be pleased to know that his murder by antiwar 
  28. protesters was an honest mistake.

  30. I find the analogy very strong.  I can respect the good intentions
  31. of antiwar and pro-life activists.  I can understand the arguments
  32. for civil disobedience that are advanced by the civilly disobedient
  33. factions in both groups, and provided that they are prepared to
  34. pay the cost of being convicted and serving jail time, I can
  35. respect their integrity.

  37. What I can't respect if when liberals like Susan Garvin try to
  38. justify the sort of crap that was done by the Nixon Administration
  39. in the 1970s against antiwar movement people -- and that's essentially
  40. what she does whe justifies the use of the Klan laws against 
  41. Operation Rescue.

  43. State laws are quite adequate for this.  The use of the federal
  44. government for this sort of thing is yet another manifestation
  45. of how much the left now controls the lower court benches of
  46. this nation.
