- Mary TARRANT, daughter of Leonard TARRANT (b. ca. 1682, d. 1719 in
- Essex Co., VA) and Mary BROOKE (d. 1749, Essex Co., VA), was married
- to Rev. Robert ROSE on February 23, 1733. She died February 28, 1739.
- I have a little more information on the TARRANTs, but no more on the
- ROSEs. You might be able to find references to colonial clergy,
- though; they could have lived in MD as well as VA. I vaguely remember
- Robert ROSE in _Alumni Oxoniensis_ (list of graduates of Oxford
- U)--but it could have been Cambridge.
