- One reason is that not all stuff sent has the correct date
- format. Such messages are refused sent by several systems on
- Usenet Netnews. Some mailers are sloppy, others are strict. I get
- most post because the thread btw. me and auvm.edu have only
- 'sloppy' mailsystems, so I can see my own post sent directly to
- Roots-L, but many will never see my post sent from my Lifeline
- Mail program because it add an invalid datestamp. Marty discussed
- with me if Listserv should bounce back to mailer all messages
- sent with a mailer that add a wrong datestamp, but has waited to
- do that until I get a new mailer:-)
