  15. Does anyone have any further information on my great grandfather.  His
  16. name : 
  17. JOHN PATRICK FENNESSY, born Ireland 1835 (maybe Tipperary).  His father's
  18. name
  19. was MATTHEW FENNESSY.  He emigrated to Australia (maybe Adelaide, SA)
  20. arriving
  21. in 1866 aboard the "Peeress".  He was a soldier and hotelkeeper.  In 1875
  22. he
  23. married Mary DOWNEY (father John).

  25. I am wanting to know where exactly in Ireland he came from and any other 
  26. information re family members etc. would be like 'striking gold'!
