  20. Don't know if it will help, but Lloyd DeWitt Bockstruck, Virginia's
  21. Colonial Soldiers (Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Co., 1988),
  22. includes Benjamin, Charles, Epaphroditus, Henry, and Richard in the
  23. index.  So there were multiple Timberlakes in VA in the 18th century.
  24. Richard was the "heir at law" of Henry in Henrico Co., Dec. 1779.  He
  25. is "a native of VA who served six months in 1758 under Gen. Forbes"
  26. and got 50 acres in Bedford Co. May 1780.
