- Don't know if it will help, but Lloyd DeWitt Bockstruck, Virginia's
- Colonial Soldiers (Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Co., 1988),
- includes Benjamin, Charles, Epaphroditus, Henry, and Richard in the
- index. So there were multiple Timberlakes in VA in the 18th century.
- Richard was the "heir at law" of Henry in Henrico Co., Dec. 1779. He
- is "a native of VA who served six months in 1758 under Gen. Forbes"
- and got 50 acres in Bedford Co. May 1780.
