- One of my ancestors is Lt. Thomas TRACY, who moved from England to
- Massachusetts, lived in Norwich, Connecticut (and several other places
- in New England), and died in 1685. There have been numerous books
- written about him, but they cannot agree as to who his parents were.
- I have seen various sources list his father as Nathianel Tracy, Paul
- Tracy, and William Tracy (Gov. of Virginia). I can rule out Nathaniel
- Tracy. I have one source each for Paul and William, and each of them
- has a lengthy explanation of why Paul or William is Thomas's father,
- but neither of them explains why the other is wrong. I was wondering
- if anyone else out there has any information that would help resolve
- this conflict. I can provide many more details about this situation
- to those who are interested.
