  12. I need suggestions.

  14. My great grandfather was named Joseph McWilliams. I have been able to
  15. find out very little.
  16. This is what I know for sure:
  17.      1870 Indianapolis, IN  marries Lizzie Hackett
  18.                          (have marriage license)
  19.      1880 Hamilton Co. IN   appears in census in Jackson Twp as
  20.                             MCWILLIAMS (found because the rest of the
  21.                             family listed correctly but no name for him)
  22.      1894 Hamilton Co. IN   obituary lists him dying Dec 18 at age of 54
  23.                             5 miles west of Arcadia
  24.  
  25. Problem: The only tidbit that any one knows of his origin is Parish
  26.        Ardstraw, County Tyrone.
  27.   How do I get him from Indianapolis to Ireland. I checked the City
  28.   directory of Indianapolis for 1865-1872 and Joseph appears only in 1870
  29.  
  30. Any hints or suggestions are welcome.
