  16. I'm having lots of troubles getting our ftp server to actually serve
  17. which means I haven't been able to copy any of the UK census transcripts.
  18. It's a long story but basically, I can't actually do an ftp, I have to
  19. tell another computer to do it for me and mail me the uuencoded results.
  20. For reasons not clear, it does not want to function. [Vile comments deleted]

  22. Is there some kind person who has {some|most|all} of the UK census
  23. transcripts so kindly provided by Mr. Stanier available for mailing
  24. to me?

  26. Can someone mail one or two of them so I can at least understand what
  27. I'm after?
