  16.   Since I seem to be stuck researching other surnames (for the
  17.   present), I've decided to start looking at other surnames that
  18.   I haven't touched as of yet.

  20.   This query has to do with the surname ANTLEY. My great great
  21.   grandmother was Mary Ann ANTLEY who married my great great
  22.   grandfather John Holland on May 1, 1859 in Henry County, Alabama.
  23.   She was born in Abbeville, Henry Co., Alabama about 1825. After
  24.   John Holland died during the American Civil War, she remarried in
  25.   1865 to a George W. Mock in Georgia. My great grandfather, William
  26.   Holland, was John and Mary Antley Holland's only son. Family
  27.   information about both the Holland's and Antley's is scarce to say
  28.   the least.

  30.   If anyone is researching the surname ANTLEY or knows the country
  31.   of origin for this surname please let me know, any lead no matter
  32.   how small would be greatly appreciated.

  34.   If anyone else is doing research in Henry Co., Alabama, I have a
  35.   copy of the marriage records for the groom's name starting with
  36.   the letters "HA-HO" dates 1821-1868 that I would be more than glad
  37.   to lookup for you. It's only one page but has a number of marriages
  38.   listed.
