- Lots of good suggestions. But two very practical ones I
- recommend:
- 1. use photo copies, rather than originals. Keep originals in a
- safe, dry, cool and dark (no light!) place.
- 2. try placing clippings in plastic (not just any plastic!) mylar
- envelopes or l-velopes sold by University Products and other
- suppliers of preservation materials. They are relatively cheap and
- really do help preserve clippings, pamphlets, documents, etc.
- These two steps will preserve clippings for a long time and
- don't require any chemical solutions or sprays.
