  21. Well, I called them anyway. I figured it wouldn't hurt to give them
  22. reinforcement, especially as Kennedy chose this moment to announce
  23. that he was (finally) signing on as a sponsor of the Federal gay
  24. rights bill. I wanted to make sure that I was recorded in favor. (The
  25. person who took the call said that the calls from Massachusetts were
  26. overwhelmingly favorable.)

  30. What *I* hope is that the gay and supportive folks in the 3rd and 6th
  31. are *deluging*  Blute and Torkildsen with calls.
