  23. Well, I called them anyway. I figured it wouldn't hurt to give them
  24. reinforcement, especially as Kennedy chose this moment to announce
  25. that he was (finally) signing on as a sponsor of the Federal gay
  26. rights bill. I wanted to make sure that I was recorded in favor. (The
  27. person who took the call said that the calls from Massachusetts were
  28. overwhelmingly favorable.)

  32. What *I* hope is that the gay and supportive folks in the 3rd and 6th
  33. are *deluging*  Blute and Torkildsen with calls.
