- It seems to be never the twain shall meet time.
-
- Richard Johnson is pro Melmon:
- > He is not for everyone; but then, who _is_ on this forum? There are gems
- > to be found amongst all that hard, black coal.
-
- Steve Dyer is contra Melmon:
- > I can't imagine anyone being particularly interested
- > in actually meeting Melmon unless he had a personality transplant first.
-
- Jeff Dauber is pro Melmon:
- > He gets a number of people here worked up while laughing at them.
- > For that, I give him a lot of credit.
-
- Owen Rowley is contra Steve Dyer (does that make him pro Melmon?):
- > I'm not particularly interested in pretending that
- > I care whether or not you get to draw another breath.
-
- Can it be coincidence that the pros are on the West Coast and the cons
- on the East? The pros seem to be winning out at the moment, but
- perhaps if I add my weight to the cons the additional leverage of
- being so much eastlier than even Mr Dyer will right the balance. I
- suppose it depends where the fulcrum is. Madison?
