- Well, the Hoover Institute is a conservative think tank, somewhat like
- the Heritage Foundation. I can recall reading an article about a year
- ago in the LA Times about how the Hoover Institute got established at
- Stanford. I believe it's a question of their having endowed the school
- with a big hunk of change.
