  39. Personally, I think that there is value in discussing the messages that 
  40. people get.  I think that it increases understanding of the way messages
  41. work, which may help people free themselves from their control.  I think
  42. it's a good way to analyze the patterns in society without assuming, a 
  43. priori, that someone is to blame, that a scapegoat must be found.
