  74. This is truth!  My lawyer has told me unless my ex2b is a drug abuser or a
  75. child beater there is no chance of custody.  In addition he said I should go
  76. elsewhere for a lawyer if I want to pursue a custody battle.

  78. A basic divorce should cost about $1500.00 to $3500.00.  The sky is the
  79. limit for a custody battle.

  81. One comment though, the disscusion seems to centering on gender basis,
  82. however I have been told that the court considers itself to be the adovcate
  83. for the child, and will do what is best for the child, or at least what it
  84. believes to be the best.  Both parents maybe capable of raising the child,
  85. but which one is best?  Being capable may not be enough.  We maybe faced
  86. with a more subtle distinction here then simple gender basis.

  89. week ago.  I must admit I am pleased with the quality of the thread, and I
  90. will look for the book you referenced, I am going to need hard/published
  91. facts.
