- One thing I learned working with mens groups and so on, was to own the
- "shadow side" of my personality. You see, I look like Richie Cunningham
- and have acted pretty much like the same. Yet inside of me, there is
- a self-centered, willful, wildman..a veritable..jerk! And realizing
- that I am an amalgum of characters rather than just a "nice guy" was
- an important step in my growth. "Nice guy" is a role that people get
- locked into. It's a limiting stereotype. Beyond rigid roles is
- freedom and a sense of excitement. It is attractive to people in
- general; fortunately including beautiful intelligent females.
