  23.  In -some- sense of the word, yes.  For one particular woman, in one
  24.  particular relationship, he might relate to her differently than to the
  25.  rest of the world and his self-centeredness is not a problem.  As you
  26.  note at the end of the post, it really is impossible to generalize, but
  27.  generalizations do make it easier to communicate.

  39.  -can- be a coverup for insecurity.  Who knows?
