- In -some- sense of the word, yes. For one particular woman, in one
- particular relationship, he might relate to her differently than to the
- rest of the world and his self-centeredness is not a problem. As you
- note at the end of the post, it really is impossible to generalize, but
- generalizations do make it easier to communicate.

- Assertive definitely is not synonymous with "high esteem". Assertiveness
- -can- be a coverup for insecurity. Who knows?
