- Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!
-
- Something has finally gone right for Laurie 8!!!!
-
- UPDATE: Having been pretty much forced to seek a new place to live by the
- uncaring Tasmanians surrounding him, out intrepid Laurie 8 is busy looking
- for a share house that doesn't mind his sexuality.
-
- How does one go about such things - well, the only place in Hobart with
- a gay/bi noticeboard is the AIDS council in North Hobart. Four rooms up for
- grabs - one already taken, two way too far away from Uni to even consider, one
- wants me to write to a PO Box first.
-
- Laurie 8 puts all his creativity into trying to convince the Post Office Box
- (still smouldering) that he is a nice guy (tm).
-
- Meanwhile, advertisments in the paper get read, houses get visited, the "Does
- it matter that I'm bi and have a boyfriend who intends visiting occasionally?"
- question gets popped to responses ranging from "No, I suppose that's OK" to
- "Get out of here, pervert!". One particularly nice place catches the eye of
- Laurie 8. View 9/10, current occupants 8/10, room 9/10, living space 10/10,
- "No, that isn't a problem" to the oft-popped question. Sounds good.
-
- Phone disturbs the stir-frying of some pork strips to go with water chestnuts,
- beans, broccoli, peas, carrots, baby corn and other assorted niceties...
-
- "Hello."
- "George?"
- "Speaking..."
- "This is Peter - from the house you looked at on Saturday. We got a letter in
- our post-office boc from you this morning. When would you like to move in?"
-
- Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!
