  15. wrote Sleeping Beauty (or the Taking of Sleeping Beauty, I think), and 
  16. its sequels, Beauty's Punishment and Phooey oops Beayties Release,
  17. as pornography. It's High Quality Literature and has plots adn stuff
  18. for those people who don't necessaliry like to admit they like it 
  19. 'cause it's hot stuff. Maybe it's not ofr the weak of heart or stomach
  20. or sexual preference (it's got lots of SM in it, in fact that was
  21. pretty much the point), but I like it anyway. The upshot is, that I'd
  22. say it's bi-porn (actually I call it erotica because I tend to think
  23. of the difference between porn and erotica as a qualitative one),
  24. because it doesn't necessarily feature bis in poly contexts only. It
  25. features bis in a variety of different contexts, one-to-one, same-sex,
  26. mixed-sex, grouped, you name it.  It's not all the same scene over 
  27. and over.  Which I think is pretty much descriptive of bis in general;
  28. we don't all do the same things in the same styles. Although I will
  29. admit that all this sounds like I'm saying "all bis are into SM " 
  30. which of course ias a common misconception that I know and I hoipe 
  31. all of us here know isn't true...you never know...ANyway.

  33. On a tangent, I'd like to mention that I once had a girlfriend who was
  34. bi and seemed to feel she had to act the part, i.e. she thought
  35. the proper way to be bisexual was to wander about with a man on one 
  36. arm and a woman on the other. Played havoc with us,  he and I got 
  37. along muc better when she wasn't around, although he suffered from 
  38. the complex of "{the girlfriend of my girlfreind is my girlfriend"
  39. and kept trying to get me into bed when he thought I wasn't looking.
  40. Anybody else have this happen? I'd like to think I'm not unique. I
  41. do tend towards polyamory but I think it has to be done right. So 
  42. I don't do it too often. How did I get ont o this toic...oh yes,
  43. pornography. The point, if there is one, being that I don't be bi 
  44. the same way she be'd bi, and I know everybody else desn't be bi
  45. the same way either, so why should our porn reflect only one way
  46. of being? (Christ, shut up, Ximena, you're rambling,shit, I'll
  47. stop now/...oops fuck this mindbogglingly stupid machine...
