- I too had serious problems with Precision Tune . . . This one in Renton. I
- only wanted a tune-up . . . But, they went ahead and performed over $125 of
- unauthorized repairs . . . and then the car didn't run properly. A mechanic
- told me I had loose motormounts and a that my drive train was going bad . . .
- Ironically, the car didn't even have a drive train!
-
- After raising a ruckous and bailing my car out . . . I wrote the most
- horrific letter to the main company back east . . . Ultimately, I was
- reimbursed for the unauthorized repairs. While waiting for my money . . . I
- was able to make many people in the main office very miserable . . . Some
- vice-president later told me that EVERYONE at the Renton location had been
- fired . . . I never bothered to confirm it though . . . They may have just
- replaced them with more incompetent bozos.
-
- I have kept my promise to Precision Tune . . . I have raked the reputation of
- that company through the mud as often has I could. I feel this is the easiet
- way to get revenge . . . Tell as many people how bad it was . . . Ultimately,
- a lot of potential business will not go there.
