  10. I need to buy an 8-bit Future Domain SCSI controller for my PC... an 845
  11. or similar.

  13. But that's not the point of this post.  What I want to avoid is the task of
  14. calling all the computer stores in town and collecting prices from each.  
  15.  
  16. Wouldn't it be great if we could get the various computer stores to monitor 
  17. this newsgroup?  Then I could say "I need an x" and within a day or so the
  18. bids would roll in.  I could then pick the lowest, or the one with the best
  19. combination of price and after-sale support.
