  16. I am beginning to put together a demo that will put a 3d medical
  17. object, e.g. heart, brain etc.  into a virtual environment.
  18.  
  19. I want to use real medical images from a NMR or other similiar
  20. tomography system.  
  21.  
  22. I need info on image formats, ideas for getting these images into
  23. a SGI GL format, and perhaps a pointer to an archive that has some
  24. images readily avialable, and (ideally) a location where I can find
  25. some utilities that will make my life easier
  26.
